Associate Executive Director — Anne Wall
After a 30-year career in the for-profit sector, with 17 years as a Partner and Senior Vice President in a privately held marketing research firm, I transitioning to the nonprofit sector. In my role as Partner, I was responsible for business development as well as having a variety of management responsibilities. I have a B.S. in business from the University of Illinois and a MBA from DePaul.
I have two adult children, a daughter and a son, and a husband who works in International Strategic Planning and is a founding member of a nonprofit for physical wellness.
I am a lifelong volunteer. My heart and my passion have always been in areas where I can make a difference in someone’s life. Five years ago, when I left the business world, I started at a nonprofit that helps about 200 other nonprofits find volunteers. I was the Director of Employee Engagement and Business Development.
Two years ago, I started at ETS as a volunteer and then became the Associate Executive Director in charge of funding. I am a strong believer in ETS’s mission. We are helping a population that is growing in size and in need of physical assistance. I am continually in awe of the generosity of our volunteer drivers and the gratitude our passengers show for the service our drivers provide them. Our drivers do so much more than just provide a ride. They bring companionship and caring to the frail elderly. I am proud to be part of this organization.
